DOCUMENTS TO BE PRODUCED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION
(Arrange the documents in the following order)
- Certificate to prove Date of Birth.
- Transfer Certificate from the Institution last attended and Conduct Certificate.
- Original mark list of the qualifying examination (Higher Secondary) and the Pass certificate
of the qualifying examination (if issued).
- Migration Certificate, if applicable.
- Physical Fitness Certificate
- Receipt of Fee remitted in the bank(Commissioner for Entrance Examinations)
- Data sheet of KEAM 2024.
- Admit card of KEAM 2024.
- Allotment Memo issued by the CEE.
- Any other documents required in the allotment Memo/Notification.
- Originals of all the uploaded documents and certificates
- Community Certificate, Income Certificate/Non-Creamy layer certificate from the reserved candidates
- Two recent passport size photographs.
**Please take necessary copies of your certificates to be produced along with the original certificates.

BTECH Admission
Admission is made as per the rank obtained by eligible candidates in the state-level
Common Entrance Exam conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala State.
90% of the Merit quota seats in the Colleges under CAPE will be allotted by the
Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE) as per the reservation policy of the Government.
So also, 5% of Management quota seats reserved for wards of Co-operative Sector
and 5% N.R.I quota seat are filled from the rank list, prepared by the college authority, based on the plus
two marks [Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or / Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology].
Lateral entry : The Engineering Diploma holders are admitted directly to the 3rd
semester.

Admission Requirements
B-Tech ELIGIBILITY
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations
recognized as
equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and
Chemistry as one of the
optional subject with atleast 45% marks put together in the above subjects are
eligible for
admission.
In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer
Science shall be
considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science
the marks obtained in
Biotechnology shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry,
Computer Science
and Biotechnology the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered.
LATERAL ENTRY
Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering/ Technology awarded by the State
Board of Technical
Education or
Institutions under Govt. of India after undergoing regular course of 3 years in an
approved institution
are eligible
for writing the Entrance Test (LET) conducted by the Joint Controller of Technical
Examinations,
Thiruvananthapuram
for admission to the lateral entry seats available in all the branches of the
college.
The allotment of seats will be made by the Director of Technical Education (DTE),
Kerala on the basis of
the
rank list published and availability of seats in the various categories through the
website www.dtekerala.gov.in,
according to the options given by the candidates. The admission details are
available in the website www.admissions.dtekerala.gov.in/
NRI ADMISSION
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or Examinations
recognized as equivalent
thereto, with 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together are
eligible for admission to
B.Tech courses.
No entrance test is required for getting admission to B.Tech course under NRI
quota.
Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech course under NRI quota should be a Child/
Ward/Dependent of an
NRI and should enclose a declaration obtained from the NRI who sponsor the
applicant.
Admission to 5% of seats is available for the child/ ward/ dependant of Non-Resident
Indians (NRIs) under
the NRI admission scheme.
It is done based on the performance of the applicants in their qualifying examination.
How to apply
The College of Engineering Muttathara invites applications from the eligible candidates
and admits
students
based on the rank list.
The applicant should apply online within the stipulated time.
Hardcopy of the application is to be submitted along with the copies of the supporting
documents to the
college, after paying the prescribed application fees.
When to apply
Usually, applications for admission under the NRI quota are invited immediately after the
publication of
the plus two results of the state/central boards.

Eligibility Criteria*:
Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December 2024.
Only Indian citizens/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
are eligible for
admission.
The candidate should be a child/ ward/ dependant of an NRI and should enclose a
declaration, in the
prescribed
form of the NRI along with the application.
Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations
recognized as
equivalent
thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Computer
Science/
Biotechnology/
