The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in 2016, with the objective of imparting quality education in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. With rapidly evolving technology and the continuous need for innovation, the Department has always produced quality professionals, holding important positions in Information Technology and other Industries. The Department has always been on a high growth path and to keep pace with the current technological trends
It is a comprehensive course in computer applications and systems. Students will learn, understand the concept and different use of Programming languages, Networking, Program Design, Computations, Artificial Intelligence, Operating systems, Data structures and Algorithms, Database Systems, Compiler Design, Logic Design, Computer Architectures etc. from this course. This course is both practical as well as theoretical and has research projects with lab work.
Without any shadow of doubt, it is the members of the teaching community who impart progress into the students and also encourages and fine-tune the students to put in their best and excel in their fields. The faculty strives hard to provide them all round knowledge in theory, practical work and guides them in all other academic activities like seminars, projects, training, etc. Moreover, we train our students to inculcate professional behavior, leadership qualities , team spirit, skills on problem solving, critical thinking, and ethical responsibilities through the activities organized by the Department Association – CODIAC. Participation in Industrial visits, Interns, Hackathons promotes their professional ambience with an emphasis on software and hardware development.
We have got good placement and academic records and about 100% of eligible final year students, who seek a placement, are placed in reputed organizations and notch companies with good salary with the initiative of the institution prior to their course completion.

Computer Science & Engineering Association CODIAC has conducted an intercollege technical fest “NIRVANA”. The fest was launched on 25th May 2021. The programme was conducted in online platform. A series of events were conducted as part of the programme.

The moto of the event was “Reminiscing Old Times”. The competition focused on the collection and share of the favorite college memories.
2.Super Quiz
The moto of the event was “Think Fast, Think Ahead”. This was a technical quiz competition in which participant are to attempt 50 questions in 10 minutes.
3. VALORANT TOURNAMENT
The event was named as “Vigrior”. Online game event that was conducted as a team event.
4.WEBINAR
Topic of the webinar was “Basics of Cryptocurrency mining & trading” with the resource person Mirzad Makhdoom, international marketing trader, motivational speaker and youtuber.
5.CLUEMENATI
Treasure hunt event conduct in the online platform.
6.START, CAMERA, ACTION
Instagram Reels competition that focused on music, dance or any other type of reels.
7. HAIKU COMPETITION
The event targeted the creation of 3 line poem with a one month free Netflix subscription for the winner.

1. A farewell programme “ALOHA” was conducted for the 2017-2021 CSE batch on 4th December 2021 at 10.00 AM in the college campus.
2. A cricket tournament Codiac Premier League was conducted on 8th January 2022. The programme was conducted at Ozone turf, Muttathara.

1. ONAM CELEBRATION We conducted the 2022 Onam celebrations “ CODEONAM ” on 3rd September 2022. There were many programs and traditional competitions such as making flower carpets, tug of war, spoon race etc were organized as part of the celebration. Our Department won the First prize for the flower carpet competition. There was Onam Sadhya for all the department students and faculties.
2. DHITHI TECHNICAL FEST CODIAC conducted a 4 day technical fest, DHITHI from 2nd December 2022 to 5th December 2022. The inauguration was done by the Chief guest : Sri. AJIN THOMAS,Director - Global Business,Polus Software, Technopark, TVM on December 2nd,2022 at 9.30 am at College Seminar Hall. The programs conducted on that day were : Webinar on Git, Speak Up(elocution competition), ONE PIECE, a treasure hunt competition, and Mock Drive (mock placement drive). Kick it ,a mini football matchand Flash mob was held at A block central space on the same day. Day two and three of DHITHI was for a Workshop on Electric Vehicles (IoT enabled) conducted by Acutro Technologies Pvt Ltd., Ernakulam. On day four, we conducted ZERO ERROR, a debugging competition. A closing ceremony & prize distribution were done on this last day.
3. CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS On 23rd of December 2023, Department of Computer science, CODIAC conducted the Christmas celebration. The program was started by a cake cutting ceremony by the Principal,HoD and other faculties followed by several games.We celebrated both the events ( Christmas Day and the New Year) together. The Central hall of B Block were decorated by balloons,crumbled papers,and a big Christmas Star,all done by the students.The event was a huge success as all the students and faculties enjoyed the event to their fullest
4. FAREWELL PARTY We conducted the farewell for our 2019-23 batch students on 30th June 2023.The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with students and teachers to reminisce joyous moments.The program was held at the seminar hall. Everyone took the opportunity to get them clicked. The guests were welcomed by the stage organized with a promise for making the day memorable. The HoD and other faculties of the department participated in the program. We provided food for all those who came for the program.
