Instructions and Guidelines for B.Tech Admission Process - 2026

• Candidates allotted through CEE for joining engineering courses in this institution are advised to follow these instructions/guidelines strictly.
• The date and time for joining engineering courses are scheduled as below:

Required Documents at the Time of Admission

1. Admit Card and official Data Sheet of **KEAM 2026**.
2. Institutional fee receipt generated from CEE.
3. Allotment Memo issued by the CEE (Phase II Allotment).
4. 10th Standard Certificate / Birth Certificate (as uploaded to the KEAM portal) for identity and DOB verification.
5. Original mark list of the qualifying examination (Higher Secondary or Equivalent) along with Pass Certificate (if separate).
6. Transfer Certificate (TC) from the academic institution last attended.
7. Valid Conduct Certificate issued within the last six months.
8. Migration Certificate (wherever applicable).
9. Physical Fitness Certificate matching the format specified in Annexure XVII(b) of the Prospectus 2026.
10. Originals of all credentials uploaded with the application for reservation claims (Community Certificate, Income Certificate / Non-Creamy Layer Certificate for reserved categories):
    1. **SEBC:** Valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate for State Educational purposes from the competent Village Officer (Annexure XXVII format).
    2. **SC/ST:** Valid Community Certificate issued by the respective Tahsildar (Annexure XXIX format).
    3. **OEC:** Non-Creamy Layer certificate (Annexure – XXVII format) OR Certificate to prove community (Annexure – XXXIII) AND Income Certificate (Annexure – XXXI format) obtained from the Village Officer in the prescribed proforma (issued within one year for State Government Education purposes).
11. Two recent passport-size color photographs.
12. Any auxiliary requirements explicitly highlighted in the CEE Allotment Memo.

B.Tech Admission Overview

Admission is governed explicitly by the standard state rank lists generated via the Common Entrance Examination (KEAM) coordinated by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala State.

90% of total Merit seats within institutions governed under CAPE are allocated by the CEE based on state reservations. 5% of seats are designated under Co-operative Sector allocations, and 5% are allocated under the formal NRI Quota system based on evaluation metrics in qualifying core courses (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry / Computer Science / Biotechnology / Biology).

Lateral Entry: Engineering Diploma holders are eligible for direct progression into the 3rd academic semester. Allotments are managed via the Director of Technical Education (DTE).

Computer Science, Biotechnology, or Biology are evaluated alternately in sequential order based on specific stream exclusions.

NRI Quota Admission Matrix

Allocation structures accommodate a fixed 5% parameter threshold intended for direct dependents or children of Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) backed via qualifying metrics evaluations. No explicit separate entrance test metrics are mandated for quota processing selections.

Application Strategy & Timelines

Candidates must process registration configurations through institutional online forms before specific closing dates expire. Signed physical forms and documented verification copies should be handed over directly to the registrar alongside institutional fee clearing. Subed timelines typically expand open immediately following state board or central plus two result publication windows.

Eligibility Benchmarks

Applicants must turn 17 years old by December 31, 2026. Only Indian citizens, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) candidates are valid.
